Balance Metrix supplies e-healthcare systems operated by Balance Mat Pty Ltd. Balance Mat Pty Ltd has undertaken to Balance Metrix that it will protect our clients’ personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss and theft or unauthorised access, copying, use and modification.

Balance data is routinely collected, uploaded and stored in the Balance Mat test results system by our healthcare clients. This data includes personal information, biodata and health condition information.

Balance Mat Pty Ltd provides access to a secure section of the Balance Mat test results system for our Balance Metrix clients to use when they measure the balance of their patients or research subjects in their individual section. This balance data is collected and stored by our clients on the Balance Mat test results system. Neither Balance Mat Pty Ltd nor Balance Metrix has access to this data.

However, Balance Metrix does have access to and may use de-identified, aggregated data from the Balance Mat test results system for research, information and marketing purposes.

Should the security requirements of a healthcare client organisation prevent online operation of the system, Balance Mat Pty Ltd has undertaken to work with the organisation’s software engineers to operate the Balance Mat system offline in an integrated way to suit the organisation’s own information technology systems.
